Registered Sportive

Event Summary

Event Overview

K20 Cycling Club invites individual cyclists, cycling groups and clubs to take part in our 2024 Sportive on Sunday 2 June.

The event will be on flowing open roads and features as a 'must ride' Sportive for 2024, providing the opportunity of a leisurely ride meandering through the beautiful Kent countryside taking in some of the prettiest villages Kent has to offer; - Marden, Goudhurst, Benenden, Rolvenden, Biddenden, Smarden and Headcorn on the shorter 50 mile route, whilst the longer more challenging 75 mile route includes Appledore and Tenterden, and also takes in in the full length of the Military Road from Rye to Appledore.

Building on the tremendous successes of our 2022 and 2023 Sportives, K20 Cycling Club is, once again, aiming to raise funds for two local charities: Living Memories/Dementia Friendly Community Marden, which aims to help those living with memory loss, and Marden Scout Group, serving the area’s young people.  Our last two Sportives have raised an incredible £1,900 for each of these charities - in 2024, we hope to raise more!
