About the Event

Info for Riders

The Mackie Trophy starts at 7pm and is a 13 mile undulating time trial round a quiet road loop. It starts just after the spey bridge at Kincraig near the Loch Insh water sports centre. Climbing up past the  water sports centre you quickly reach Feshiebridge. The route then goes north east towards Inverdruie on the B970 (this is a narrow twisty undulating road). Great care should be taken on this section due to the possibility of oncoming traffic being in the middle of the road. At the end of this road (at the Rothiemurchus barn) you turn left towards Aviemore then left again at the roundabout on to the B9152 towards Kincraig.  The finish is just before you reach Kincraig at the Speybank junction.
