Event Overview

This is a relaxed but tough 100 mile (circular route) sportive with shorter 75 & 50 mile options, starting and finishing at The Kilgetty Community Centre, Pembrokeshire, SA68 0YA. 

This event was run for the first time in September 2020 (with reduced numbers) and again in July 2021 (sold out) with 200 entrants (raising £6,600 for the 2 nominated charities) July 2023 was held in very wet conditions but over 180 entries (raising nearly £6,000 for our charities)  and received top reviews from all entrants with many praising the organisation, vehicle back up support and challenging but very enjoyable routes in a relaxed atmosphere.

All proceeds (after expenses) from this event will be shared equally between our 2 beneficiaries (Paul Sartori Hospice At Home & Hwest Y10 S.Africa Rugby Tour).

About the Event

Info for Riders

This charity sportive event will have 3 different routes (100, 75 & 50 miles) with approx 7,000 5,000 & 3,500 ft of climbing respectively throughout the challenging but scenic routes with the 100 mile route taking in the 3 counties of Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, & Ceredigion. GPS routes will be supplied well in advance of the event, and the routes will also be well signed.

The start and finish venue at Kilgetty Community Centre/Kilgetty Sports & Social Club, has public toilets and free parking, and there will be back up support throughout the routes should any rider have to retire from the event. 

There will be bottled water stations throughout the routes & BBQ refreshments (inc vegeterian) available to purchase at finish venue, a list of cafe and refreshment stops will be given to all entrants, entry fees have been kept reasonable, so no food will be supplied on route to allow us to raise vital funds for our two very worthy charities .

We will be following Welsh Cycling and the latest regulations on this event and the safety of all participants will be paramount.

If you are a member of a Cycling Club please enter it with your registration as there is a framed certificate for the Club with the most finishers on the day.
