This is the 9th running of the Bath Cycling Club Road Race, and we are looking to repeat last years successful race on the challenging hilly Stowey Circuit. 

We will once again be running the Men's Regional A race in the morning followed by the prestigious Women's National B race in the afternoon.

The event is open to riders from all clubs

We have received sponsorship for the Women's race that has covered the costs of the event and the race will go ahead.  Entries for the Women's event will be on a first come first served basis - with a special early bird (pre 20th May) entry price of £15.  This is one of the few hilly National B Women's road races and is expected to be a large competitive field. 

The participants for the Men's event will be selected three weeks before the race, Priority will be given to the following:

• Teams from local clubs who promote events in the South region.
• Local U23 and Junior riders.
• If a final selection is still required this will be based on points and/or entrants who constitute more than one rider from the same club.

In order to make the race more accessible to younger riders I will be offering up to 10 FREE places in the Men's races to any U23 or Junior riders from the South, South West and Wales regions who would like to enter the race. The HQ will be at the Bishop Sutton AFC.  The race will use the Stowey Circuit

Open road circuit of just over 10 km, for 8 laps.

The circuit has an 80m climb at the end of each lap, with the remainder of the circuit generally undulating; a race for those who like hillier terrain.

The neutralised roll out from the HQ goes up the climb to the start/finish at KM 0. There will be then 8 further laps to an uphill finish.
