This is an evening session hosted at Darley Moor closed circuit.  This event is open to all riders to practice group riding skills, regardless of current ability or experience.  This event, unfortunately, is for those over 18's only.  

Info for Riders

The skills event is planned to take place with a start time of 6:30 pm. We recommend arriving at 6pm to allow the organisation of the groups and provide a safety briefing, but there may be minor adjustments.   We aim to assist in improving your skills and practising riding in groups, chain gangs, and human-paced derny.

Depending on the number and abilities of riders, we will group them accordingly. Each group will perform the same activity at the same time, with one person taking control.

In addition, we aim to provide a safe and controlled environment for attendees to practice their riding skills and build confidence using the outer area of the track during the skills events.

 

This session is £6.00 for Belper BC members and £7.50 for non members

Warm up – 30-second pull rotate riders off the front.

06.50 – 07.00

Break (or spin around the track)

07.00 – 07.30

Chain gang practice.

07.30 – 07.40

3 riders off the front – rest chase down practising a chain gang.

08.00 – 08.10
