The Brighton Mitre Hove Park Crits are a longstanding event in the local race calendar. Hove Park is a classic closed crits circuit of 0.9miles with one sharp turn and sweeping descents and uphill sections. Races consist of 20 to 40 mins plus 2-5 laps depending on conditions, age and category. It is an exciting course on which to race that benefits an attacking mindset and team mates who are prepared to work for one another.  Cash prizes for podiums will be awarded.  This is always a popular event and entries sell out quickly.

Info for Riders

The event takes place in the northern end of Hove Park post code BN3 6LS, What 3 Words: talked.washed.keeps.  Free street parking available on Goldstone Crescent.  Public toilet facilities are available near the tennis courts at the opposite end of the park.  No mechanical assitance available.  The course is always open to the public but is marshalled from 6pm to allow for warm up and familiarity laps.  Warm up opportunity will also be available between races but you may also choose to bring rollers.  First aid will be available on site.  Nearest train station is Hove.
