Event Overview

Ride for Ryder our annual cycling event returns for 2025, we can't wait to see you all back at the start line. Supported by British Cycling our Sportive offers a fun, non-competitive event for all with five routes (40km, 60km, 90km, 130km and 160km) taking you through the Cotswolds glorious countryside. Whichever route you choose you can also be sure that you’re supporting your only inpatient hospice in Gloucestershire!

Celebrating our 37th YearThis year our charity cycle event, Ride for Ryder is celebrating its 37th year of raising funds for Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court hospice. We warmly invite new riders and encourage all past riders to join us on Sunday 6th July 2025. We're also delighted to able to make a weekend of riding with our children's event on the 5th (day prior) at Dean Close hosted by Cheltenham Town Wheelers

 

Who can take part?

  • Please note children must be over the age of 14yrs on Event Day (Sunday 6th July) to take part.
  • All riders aged 14 to 17 years will require a parental consent form to be completed. 
  • All riders aged 14 to 17 years must ride with an adult (21 yrs +) on the day of the event (6th July).
  • For any riders wanting to take part who are under the age of 14yrs you are welcome to enter our Saturday 5th event being hosted onsite at Dean Close by Cheltenham Town Wheelers: Booking link coming soon
