Scottish Cycling are excited to be bringing the Scottish National Senior and Junior Criterium Championships to Fife Cycle Park, Lochgelly. 
 
It is set to be a great day of racing with the day kicking off with Youth C,D,E coach led racing and a crit, followed by Youth A and B crits and then a women's entry level coaching session and race. The afternoon will consist of the Championship races- Senior and Junior Open and Female before the day finishes off with a category 4 open crit race

The format for the Youth C,D and E racing will consist of 2 races- firstly some street sprints (short 4-up races), followed by a crit race.

Youth A and B will be a compete in a full crit race.

The entry level womens event will offer a coaching session in the morning, giving first time racers the opportunity to learn and practice all skills crit related and then there will be a chance to test them out in the 20 minute crit race afterwards! This is perfect for anyone wanting to have a go at racing in a fun, safe, traffic free environment.

Entries to the Championship events will close 2 weeks before on Saturday 14th September at 23:55
All other entries will close on Sunday 22nd September at 23:55 

All Scottish Cycling Championships shall be open to persons who meet at least one of the following criteria and hold a must hold a full race licence in order to take part in the Championship.

• 2.1 Persons whose primary club is affiliated to Scottish Cycling (licence showing that club or team at the time entries close).
• 2.2 Scottish Nationals (persons born in Scotland).
• 2.3 Scottish Residents (persons who have continuously lived in Scotland for the last three consecutive years prior to the day of the Championship).
• 2.4 Persons who have at least one parent who was born in Scotland.
• 2.5 Members of the armed forces who meet none of the above, but who by necessity are required to live in Scotland away from their normal residence.
