The beautiful Cricket St Thomas Estate, located on the A30 near Chard, hosts this round of the SWCX league.  Organised by the Chard Wheelers Cycling Club, the course provides a challenging mix of grass, gravel and road with races throughout the day for all age categories.

Follow the signs off the A30, down the driveway to the event carpark.  Race HQ will be clearly signposted from the carpark.  Catering facilities also available.

Info for Riders

• We recommend a minimum age of 5 years old, with participants riding a pedal bike unattended and no balance bikes allowed.
• Rider details (including race number, first name, last name, category, gender, date of birth, club, British Cycling licence and emergency contact details), will be provided to Kernow Race Timing, who provide chip timing, results and entry lists for the league. Details of how they handle this information can be found in their privacy policy: https://kernowracetiming.co.uk/privacy-policy. Contact details may also be provided to Kernow Race Timing in the event of timing chips not being returned or other league administration requirements.
• Failure to return timing chips at the end of each race will result in a £50 replacement fee and entry into further SWCX events will not be accepted until return of the chip or payment of the fee.
• Information provided will be used by the league and promoting clubs who have a legitimate interest in promoting successful races and will publish race results online and possibly in other formats.
• Photos, including names of competitors taking part in races and receiving prizes, may also be published and shared on social media, the South West Cyclo-Cross League website, individual photographer’s websites and Chard Wheelers' website/social media.  All participants can object to this based on their individual circumstances and can do so by contacting secretary@swcx.org or the event organiser.
• SWCX promote safe cycling, this means you need to wear a helmet while on the course and within the venue, please respect this.
