Yorkshire Wolds Cycle Challenge 2025

OnRoad Leisure , Malton – Saturday, 12 Jul 2025

Event Summary

Event Overview

The Yorkshire Wolds Cycle Challenge is an annual non-competitive, fun and friendly fundraising event in aid of Ryedale Special Families charity, now in its 14th year.   New to the event in 2025 is our 72 mile 1 Day option which we're running alongside our traditional 2 Day challenge, giving those who think 144 miles over 2 days is a bit too far!   Both events will start alongside each other at Norton College, Malton on Saturday 12th July and follow the Sustrans British Cycling Network circular 'Yorkshire Wolds Cycle Route', along the beautiful quiet country lanes of the Yorkshire Wolds, finishing day 1 at Hutton Cranswick Sports Fields.   Having completed the 72 miles, 1 Day option cyclists will be given the option of being transferred back to the start in Malton (or they can arrange their own pick-up.)   For the 2 day option riders, they will enjoy a halfway overnight camp, complete with great food, Wold Top real ale, and live music. Following a hearty breakfast early on Sunday morning they will complete the 2nd half of the 144 miles route, heading back to the start at Norton College.
