Event Overview
A welcome return to the popular Black Isle Showground venue in Muir of Ord, where Ben Wyvis Cycle Club will host the second round of this years Scottish Cyclocross series
The course has seen a redesign with some exciting new features, improved access & viewing for spectators and a new pit area at the heart of the action. Heath, grass & woodland surrounding the showground provide the terrain for great 'Cross racing with a challenging mix of tight twisty turns, fast open sections, off camber & steep features as well as the pump track, of course!
There's a fantastic, new Under 12's course as well, this year, with a great mix of terrain and cyclocross features to provide fun, challenging racing for the younger riders
With quick access off the main road network, it's only 3 hours from the Central Belt! There's ample parking, camping available on site and great gravel riding nearby so why not make a weekend of it?

The event is OPEN TO ALL riders!
- Mountain bikes and Gravel bikes as well as Cyclocross bikes are accepted in all categories
Youth U14 & U16, Junior & Adult category races count towards the Scottish Cyclo-Cross Series
All Under 12's races are held on a separate course and include a skills & practice session beforehand
- Entry for all races is on-line only. There are NO on-the-day entries
- A £1 British Cycling booking fee is charged at point of on-line payment
- If over 16 and you do not have a British Cycling Race Licence and British Cycling Membership, you'll need to pay an additional £3 for a Day Licence (to cover race insurance) when entering on-line
- Alternatively, if you intend to enter more races, you can purchase annual membership & licence prior to entering on-line
'Early Bird' entry (adult categories only) closes at 23:55 on Saturday 21st September
Entry closes at 23:55 on Tuesday 8th October.
- All race times are provisional and may be subject to change
- Details of sign on, practice and grid arrival times for each race plus all the information you'll need on the day will be in the Event Manual to be sent out by email after entry closes
- Podium presentations will be made as soon as possible after each race
