Alongside a great family fun day at Castle Combe, we also have a challenge element in the form of a Sportive road ride.

From 8am at Castle Combe, join our collective of cyclists for either a 20-mile or a 62-mile road ride around the area, finishing back at the track to enjoy the rest of the family day.

The Wiltshire Air Ambulance CycleFest Sportive is part of a great day of cycling activity for the whole family, and it includes an incredible opportunity to cycle around the Castle Combe Race Circuit with your family and friends after you've completed your own personal challenge out on the local roads around the circuit.

The wider Cyclefest event is open to all age ranges and cycling abilities. The family cycle runs on the main Castle Combe race circuit from 11am until 4pm - and you can take part in as many laps as you want. Why not set yourself a target? 

We will have a whole host of activities to keep you entertained including:

  • Cycling proficiency
  • Bicycle safety checks
  • Children's activities
  • Chat with local cycling groups and charities
  • Learn about local family friendly cycle routes
  • Meet the Wiltshire Air Ambulance mascot
