Welcome to the Ryedale Velo Club Chimney Bank Hill Climb sponsored by Big Bear Bikes, Pickering with all proceeds going to Scarborough Mountain Rescue, Ryedale Folk Museum and Ryedale Special Families.
As you may know Chimney Bank is an iconic climb, is on many cyclist's bucket list and has been used in major cycling events. The climb will start opposite the Coach House Inn, near the entrance to the caravan park and finishes near the top car park, the distance being approx 910 metres with 178m of ascent.
The course will be open to traffic during the event.
Sign in opens at 8am at The Coach House Inn with the first rider off at 9am
Prizes in the form of Big Bear Bikes vouchers will be as follows
1st Junior (16-18) Male and Female £25 each
1st Senior (19-39) Male and Female £50 each
1st Vet (40+) Male and Female £50 each
Front and rear lights are recommended in the event of poor weather.

Those riders without a British Cycling race license, a £5 fee will be charged on the day for a day license.
Refreshments will be available at the Coach House Inn from 8am onwards. Sunday Lunches are served later but please book separately.
