Richard Kell Memorial Series 2024 - Week 1

Closed Circuit , Abingdon – Saturday, 05 Oct 2024

Event Summary

Event Overview

After the popular summer series crits we're back with three more weeks of racing for those needing a few more points or a bit more cash for Christmas. Not only is this a really important series of racing for us to remember Richard but it's a great opportunity for those end-of-season points. Not to mention there's the opportunity to get your hands on a shiny trophy!!

As with previous years points will be awarded each week and the male and female riders with the most points at the end of the series will be crowned winners of the Richard Kell Memorial Series, receiving an individual trophy, their names added to the memorial trophy and some extra cash etc.

Races are run exactly like we did this summer with cash prizes for the top 3 riders in each field, each week. Chip timing will be available for all four weeks as will BC points for those chasing new categories for 2025.

Really looking forward to seeing a lot of old faces and some new ones too!
