NOVICE RACE - Fancy trying Cyclocross but a little unsure / nervous ? This category is for those who have no race experience in Cyclo-cross and is for any rider aged 12 and above. Adults and kids will all race together and start 2 mins behind the faster youths. You can use any off road bike - cyclocross, gravel, mountain (no balance bikes or unicylces though !! ). If you find you like cyclocross and  / or you are naturally fast or talented then you can choose to move to the specific age related category in future races. You are allowed to enter up to 5 novice races before we woudl consider you as experienced and then ask you to enter the full race category. No podiums, no prizes, no pressure - just for fun. Officials will provide support and feedback to help you learn

NOVICE RACE - Fancy trying Cyclocross but a little unsure / nervous ? This category is for those who have no race experience in Cyclo-cross and is for any rider aged 12 and above. Adults and kids will all race together and start 2 mins behind the faster youths. You can use any off road bike - cyclocross, gravel, mountain (no balance bikes or unicylces though !! ). If you find you like cyclocross and  / or you are naturally fast or talented then you can choose to move to the specific age related category in future races. You are allowed to enter up to 5 novice races before we woudl consider you as experienced and then ask you to enter the full race category. No podiums, no prizes, no pressure - just for fun. Officials will provide support and feedback to help you learn
