A fun and inclusive day of racing at Calshot Velodrome. 

The first race held at Calshot in a long time so definitely not one to miss!

Riders must be track accredited with either BC or Calshot.

Bike Hire is Available (payable on the day) limited availability on a first come first served basis.

University Students may enter using discounted price (see entry fees and races tab) If you are not affiliated with your Uni team on BC you may be rejected so please get in touch via email with evidence of student status, a photo of Uni ID is sufficient.

About the Event

Info for Riders

The venue is accessible from 12:30.

Sign-on closes at 13:15.

Racing starts at 13:30.

All endurance categories will have at least 4 races.

The sprint will consist of qualifying and at least two match sprints.

 

Bike specifications:
    • Tyres –  Black single compound only
    • Cranks – Max 170mm 
    • Recommended width 23mm
    • Tubulars are cemented not taped
    • Smaller gears are recommended due to nature of track (Seniors low 80s)
New tyres will need ruffing up before use on the track.  No quick release spindles.

 

Equipment Hire Pricing (payable on the day) on a first come first served basis.

  • Bike Hire £12 each 
  • Track Shoe Hire £3.50 each

sizes range from 39cm - 60cm, 2 or 3 of each size
