Thanks for visiting, the South West xc series is the regional A series for the south west. the series is growing year upon year and we have a good amount of local and national talent that frequent our races. 

This year we are shaking things up by adding some different races, a 3hr endurance and a short track race. This race is the 3hr endurance race ( for juvenile upwards) and a slightly extended duration for the under 12's compared to normal. 

There are race categories for all riders throughout the day, starting with 8 years and under.

• 9.30am Under 8's 20 mins
• 10am Under 10's and 12's 25 mins
• 12 Noon Main race (3hr endurance)

**** Juvenile and youth 1.5 hrs

****Junior 2.5 hrs

**** Sport upwards 3hrs

Novice or fun racers are welcome and should enter the race at 12pm.

This will be a regional A points ranking event for all British cycling race licence holders. Non members/ licence holders are also welcome to enter. 

The course will be set around the Newnham park estate in Plymouth. There will be a mix of man made and natural features around the course to test your skills and for those who don't fancy the challenge there will be easier lines.

9am under 8’s 10’s and 12’s only

10.30am - 11.45am and Main course

Please note that once the children's races are finished they are NOT permitted to ride the course or around the event village
