Event Overview
Event promoted by the British Cycling talent development team in partnership with regional British Cycling staff and Southern Cycle Coaching.
Development Centres support riders with their first step on the talent pathway as well as current riders who have been engaged in RSR and Apprentice programmes. Online entry is used to support the tracking of riders through the pathway.
Development Centre Session - Youth A/B, Junior riders, and O18 competent riders. Sessions will focus on higher level skills development, race fitness, race tactics and race craft and will be supplemented by occasional workshops/forums (training, diet, bike maintenance etc.)

About the Event
Info for Riders
This session is limited to 16 riders who are youth at least youth B in 2024. In order for riders to be considered for these sessions racers must be competent of riding at any point on Calshot indoor track AND meet at least one of the below critieria:
- Be already racing on track
- Be Indoor Track accredited, Experienced
- Be an existing Track RSR or GBCT Apprentice rider
- Ridden these sessions at Calshot before
Entry is online ONLY, no entries will be accepted on the day, Entries usually close the day before the session
Riders will need to bring there own equipment and enough food and drink to last the duration of the training session. Please contact Calshot Activities Centre directly for requests to book bikes.
