Event Overview

We have a fantastic day of racing scheduled for 1st Feb at Derby Arena, the Heart of Midlands Cycling

 

This is the first time this event has been put on and hope it will be a regular fixture.

 

It’s been positioned to compliment the excellent Icebreaker and Monsters of Track series to bring Youth Racing to Derby Arena. There will be racing for Youth A, B and C.

 

We are also running an Open GP comprising of 4 races running along side the Youth events so it will be a full days racing.

 

This event is being promoted by Ilkeston Cycle Club, Velospeed Coaching and Derby Arena

About the Event

Info for Riders

Youth B&C will be run in the morning session

Youth A will run along side the Open GP in the Afternoon.

 

Youth Omnium will consist of 3 races: Scratch, Elimination and Points. Each race will be run individually with points being awarded to all finishers. There will be an overall winner and podium. Overall positions will be based on the sum of the points from all 3 races.

 

The Open GP.will consist of 4 races. Scratch, Elimination, Points and an additional 10 mile scratch race, the Nigel Capewell Memorial Trophy

 

Note: Refunds will be considered up 2 weeks before the event.
