Event Overview

This will be our 6th cyclo-cross event being held here. Cyclo-cross is a winter cycling sport where participants race bikes typically around a field doing multiple laps of a short course with various obstacles including steep hills which they may have to get off their bike and run up and hurdles they have to carry their bikes over. We will have multiple categories for all ages and abilities of riders with each category racing for time depending on age and ability

About the Event

Info for Riders

Course is approx 1100m for Adults, Under 16s and Under 14s.   Predominantly in grass fields adjacent to visitor center.   Nothing too technical but with several loops in the trees and several sections on gravel to keep it interesting.    Shorter and easier for the younger riders. 

Cafe, Bike Shop, Toilets all on site at Kirroughtree visitor center.
