Primavera Pursuit Road Race

Event Overview

This Mid Devon Cycling Club (MDCC) promoted season opening prestigious road race will following a pursuit format.

4th cat riders will start first with progressively faster groups following at 2-minute intervals. The first rider over the line wins the race. 

The race will take place on the proven Hatherleigh Halwill Junction circuit over 44-miles (71-km) with 3,250ft (1,000m) of elevation gain. The race HQ will be based at Hatherleigh Community Centre (EX20 3HB).

This race format and distance provides the perfect opportunity for road racers to test their legs and get a good workout in the early part of the season. It is also a great opportunity for new racers to gain some valuable racing experience.
