Beicio Cymru & Newport Live are very proud to be hosting the Welsh Youth Track Championships for 2025 in a 2 day format.

The Championships will incorporate a 500m TT and Individual Pursuit on the evening of 14/3/25 and then Sprint, Scratch and Points Race, and for Youth B & C riders an Omnium (Scratch, Points, Elimination) on the 16th March 2025.

This is an open event however, priority will be given to competitors that fulfill the Welsh eligibility criteria. Where an event allows additional entries, non Welsh entrants will be accepted and the date of entry will be a considering factor. 

The Welsh eligibility criteria is as follows :

• Born In Wales
• Parent born in Wales
• Lived in Wales for three years consecutively prior to the date of the event.

** Proof of nationality may be requested by the event organiser or Welsh Cycling **

Championship categories are as follows:

Youth A  (Open & Female)

          - Points Race
          - Scratch Race

          - Sprint

Youth B & C (Open & Female)

          - Omnium (Points, Scratch, Elimination)

NOTE:  Second year Youth B riders may choose (at their own discretion) to enter the Youth A Championship events. However if they do so, they are not eligible to participate in the Youth B Omnium Championship.
