About the Event

Info for Riders

Welland is one of the longest-standing West Midlands circuits, used for Worcester St John's Gerry Hughes Memorial race for many years. It's largely rolling and flat on wide roads, with the toughest section the windswept drag across Castlemorton Common.

Finish: the current finish is off circuit, uphill to the church at Hollybush, at the top of a .9 mile drag which can be tackled on the big chainring.

Suits: all-rounders, rouleurs, sprinters.

Previous winners: Illi Gardner (women's Worcester Classic 2021); Conor McGoldrick (men's Worcester Classic 2021)
