Seacroft Wheelers - Reliability Ride Sunday 26th January 2025

£4 online. £5 on the day CASH

This is ride 3 of the Yorkshire Reliability Rides series, with 2 route options
• LONG ride – 51miles /82km - an out and back route taking in Tadcaster and Wetherby and return via Harewood, Thorner and Scholes.
• SHORT ride – 32miles/52km – an out and back route via Towton, Stutton and Bramham return via Thorner and Scholes

This event takes place on the open roads and rules of the Highway Code must be followed at all times. The wearing of suitable cycle helmets on the event is also mandatory.

Profits go towards Seacroft Wheelers Coaching and Ride Leader development.

Pre-entry preferred. £5 entry on the day. Under 18s to bring a completed Parental Consent

Registration

Remember this is not a race!! We share the roads with other road users. Look after one another and have a safe ride.

Registration starts from 08.30 am at Squires Café Bar (LS25 5LX)

Riders registered in advance should still check-in to confirm participation.

On the day registration is also available for £5 payable by cash only

To ease congestion at the start, we plan to release riders in groups of no more than 16 riders from 09:30 am with intervals of 1 minute and where possible in time slots of 24mph, 22mph, 20mph, 18mph, 16mph, 14mph, 12mph. Both rides will follow this plan.

Returning to Squires

On return, please check in with the marshalls outside/inside HQ (weather dependant) 

Squires Cafe Bar again play host to this year's event - please park with consideration for their regular customers and put some business their way with your food and drink purchases.

LONG ride – 51miles /82km

First group start 09:30am: Squires Café - Micklefield – Towton – Tadcaster - Wighill - Walton - Wetherby - Sicklinghall - Kearby Cliff - Harewood - Weardley Bank – Eccup - Alwoodley Lane - Wigton Lane – Shadwell – Thorner – ELOR (keep to LH lane on dual carriageway) - Scholes - Barwick-in-Elmet – Aberford - Lotherton Hall – Sherburn In Elmet - Squires Café

Start (after Long route groups) from 09:30 am: As above to Towton, then Stutton - Toulston – Bramham – Thorner, to return via ELOR (keep to LH lane on dual carriageway) - Scholes as above
