VC Londres is proud to present Round 2 of the 2025 National Youth Omnium Series, to be held in iconic Olympic venue - Herne Hill Velodrome in South London. We expect an exciting day of racing from our U14/U16 riders, as well as the support event for U12s.

Please familiarize yourself with the 2025 Series Regulations ahead of the event, especially as some provisions have changed since last year.

Entries:

All entries are closing at 23.55 on 16th April, no late entries will be available after that date. Withdrawal requests for a full refund will only be accepted prior to that date as well.

As per new Series rule, any rider switching between events (within the same round) must withdraw from the event they are not riding by the entry deadline (i.e. 16/04). Riders must not enter more than one event per weekend. 

Schedule:

We provisionally expect to run the sign-on from 8.45 to 10am, with racing commencing at 10.45am. More detailed schedule with confirmed times will be issued a week prior to the event.

Travels:

This year our event is again run on the same day as London Marathon, but, as before, this shouldn't result in any travel disruptions for those driving to Herne Hill Velodrome in the morning.

Driving from north or north-east, one can avoid road closures in Greenwich from 8am by taking Blackwall tunnel, then staying on A2 until Eltham and connecting to South Circular (A205). This is a direct route with no diversions.

Weather:

Herne Hill Velodrome is an outdoor venue, but it can still host racing in most weather conditions, so it's rare for our events to be rained off. Riders need to be aware that they may end up racing in wet conditions in case of a moderate rain.
