Event Overview

Welcome to the 2025 North West Youth League supported by Dolan bikes. We plan to hold 7 rounds of racing at circuits all around our region, with riders' best 5 results counting towards final League standings.

The opening round will be held at Carlisle Cycle Circuit, hosted by Carlisle Cycling Association. Racing for boys and girls in all Youth categories will take place on our purpose built 1km cycle circuit, easily accessible from Junction 42 and Junction 43 of the M6 motorway.

Riders from outside the region are welcome to enter.

Riders who don't hold a full British Cycling race licence may enter on payment of an additional fee for a day licence.

A Race Manual will be provided electronically after the closing date and this will include instructions re parking etc. The area can get busy at weekends due to other events being held at the nearby Sports Centre and Community Centre. Please be a good ambassador for our sport by parking considerately and treating other users of the facilities and local residents with respect.

About the Event

Info for Riders

Boys and girls will race together in Youth C,D and E categories but results will be produced separately. Likewise Youth A and B girls will race together but each age group will have their own results.

Youth A and Youth B boys have been scheduled to race separately but if there are insufficient entries the Organiser reserves the right to combine the races with separate results produced.

Participants will be informed by email and via the League Facebook group of any changes to timings or the structure of the day.

Entry closes at 12 noon on Sunday 9th March 2025

Late entries may possibly be accepted at the Organiser's discretion if space remains after the closing date but this cannot be be guaranteed and a surcharge may be charged so please enter on time.

Youth A and Youth B boys have been scheduled to race separately but if there are insufficient entries the Organiser reserves the right to combine the races with separate results produced.

Participants will be informed by email and via the League Facebook group of any changes to timings or the structure of the day.

Entry closes at 12 noon on Sunday 9th March 2025

Late entries may possibly be accepted at the Organiser's discretion if space remains after the closing date but this cannot be be guaranteed and a surcharge may be charged so please enter on time.
