EVESHAM VALE SUPPORT RACE
Course: Inkberrow
Summary: Inkberrow is one of the classic West Midlands courses with a rich tradition going back many years. Relatively flat in profile, it can be brutal if it’s windy, with some narrow roads and a punchy little climb up onto the Ridgway after the “traditional” finish, followed by the exposed drag up the ridge to the outskirts of Cookhill.
Finish: the traditional finish near Abbots Morton is up a long steady slight uphill drag with good visibility.
Suits: punchy riders, “rouleurs”, sprinters.
Recent winners on this circuit: Clay Davies (WM + Central Region champs 2024), Mari Porton (Solihull Women’s Team Cup 2024), Darren Rider (stage 3 BikeStow 3-day 2023), Georgia Lancaster (Solihull Women’s Team Cup 2024), Dan Barnes (Nick Clayton Memorial 2022), Pete Kibble (Evesham Vale RR 2020).
