After another fantastic race last year we are hoping to provide great a race and atmosphere again for the local road racing scene in 2025!
This is a great chance to grab some end of season points as you target your 2nd or 3rd category licence.
This year we will have an Early entry fee that expires 03 August 00:00 and then a standard entry fee for the 10 days prior to entry close.
The HQ is at Wellesbourne Village Hall with toilet and kitchen facilities. There is limited parking at the village hall, so please find considerate parking if there isn't space. We will try to provide alternative car parking spaces as per last year as well.
After great feedback from last year, we really want to put on another great show. The format will be the same as last year with just over 9 laps of the course
The course features one main hill - Friz Hill - which will be the finishing climb. It's not too long, but does ramp up fairly steep in the middle and should be decisive over the 10 ascents!
The West Midlands road race league is a season-long series for men and women based on weekend road races within West Midlands region, mainly 2/3/4 (regional A) and 3rd/4th cat (Regional B).
The races are open to riders from all regions, but organising clubs get priority entry for up to 8 riders; in 2024 organising clubs are Halesowen, Bridgnorth, Wolverhampton Wheelers, ProVision RT, Paramount CRT, Solihull, Newport (Shrops), Royal Leamington Spa, Wyre Forest CRC, and Lichfield.

This race will be run under the accredited marshal scheme, with a race convoy and NEG motorbikes to provide maximum rider safety.
Race Route is planned to be the same as last year on the Friz Hill Circuit Near Wellesbourne: https://www.strava.com/routes/11074504
The race will cover just over 9 LAPS!
No feeding from cars or the side of the road during the race (carry all you need in bottle holders/jersey pockets).

3. Any other riders (first come, first served)
