This session is for Development Centre aged riders (Exceptional 13s,14, 15 and 16 years categories).

We will be using this session as a data collection session for riders wanting to progress along the journey of the British Cycling Talent Pathway.

This session will be led by Martin Brown and assisted by coaches from the clubs. This will also give the coaches opportunities to develop their knowledge about the Talent Pathway to aid within their own clubs.

Coming to this session can give you the potential opportunity to progress further along the pathway to the Regional School of Racing if the selection criteria is met.

Info for Riders

Criteria.

- This is for 13-16 year olds (2025 AGE CATEGORY ) (exceptional 13s that are making A finals and hitting the set out criteria),  These riders will ideally be making finals at regional level and ideally making or close to making finals at  national level. This session is for CURRENT development centre riders and RSR/NSR riders that want to retest as part of the RSR criteria.

- All riders are required to arrive for 14:30 with flat pedals fitted. We will have a short presentation about the Talent Pathway followed by a quick Q&A. Data collection will take roughly 1 hour followed by a 1 hour track session (clips can be fitted for this).

- We will be discussing technique whilst doing the testing. The aim isn't to put the riders under pressure but to help the progress within their own journey.
