Welcome back to park run on a bike with Sprockets Cycle Club.  We are once again hosting 3 races at Dinton Pastures in Wokingham for evenings of low-stress bike riding on flowing, traffic free courses.   We have races suited to all ages from about age 5 to veteran and for riders wanting to try out racing for the first time right up to our local racing heroes and heroines.  

Like our friends in Newbury, We are  introducing a dedicated beginners' race at each event, specifically designed to welcome first-time CX riders into this dynamic discipline. These novice-friendly races provide the perfect opportunity to try cyclocross in a supportive environment.   We pride ourselves on our welcome and run these grassroots events to entice new riders as well as let experienced riders stretch their legs, so the courses are set to ensure everyone has fun. 

As Wokingham's Youth Cycle Club we make sure the course for our youngest riders is all in sight of their parents and it s laid out in a way which promotes cheering and good photos.  If you have a young rider, get them to invite a friend or two to share the best fun they can have on a bike.

Races are on 29 May 2025, 12 June 2025 and 26 June 2025.  First race is at 5:30pm  and the last race starts at 8pm.  Enter in advance or on the day (which is a bit more expensive).    Any roadworthy bike is fine but Tandems might struggle and e-bikes are not permitted.
