2 stunning rides of either 64m or 88m starting at Sandford Park Lido in the regency spa town of Cheltenham and heading north through Gloucestershire & Worcestershire to circuit Bredon Hill and then either return to the Lido via the foot slopes of the Cotswolds for the 64m Challenge ride or for the longer 88m Epic route head in to the western villages and lanes of the stunning Cotswolds

There will also be a 25 mile "Lido Ride" where all proceeds from entry (£10 per rider) and any sponsorship raised by the riders will go direct to ensuring the Lido, which is a charity, remains open for the benefit of the local community. 

Following many years of threatened closure Sandford Parks Lido became a charitable trust in 1996 to protect the popular historical facility located in the heart of Cheltenham.  The 1930s outdoor swimming facility set in four and a half acres of landscaped grounds was lovingly refurbished in 2007 and provides a peaceful paradise in the centre of town.  Its facilities include an ASA measured 50m, 10 lane heated main pool, a heated children’s pool and a paddling pool.  All proceeds raised from the Lido Ride will be channelled back into the facility protecting and developing it for future generations to enjoy.

Entries close on 8 May 2013 and the sportive is limited to 300 riders for the Epic and Challenge rides at a cost of £24 per rider and a further 100 can entry the Lido Ride which has an entry fee of £10 per rider

There will be well stocked feed stations on route and catering available at the start and finish HQ. 

Mechanical support will be available at the HQ prior to the start and riders will be able to purchase essential supplies if you’ve forgotten to pack them.

A ‘broom’ wagon will offer some mechanical assistance on the road and will ensure all riders get safely back to the HQ should you incur a non-repairable mechanical.
