Info for Riders
Sportive based in the White Peak/Staffordshire Moorlands area of the Peak National Park on predominantly quiet roads and lanes. Route options: long 125km with 2529m of climb inc three superb Tour of Britain climbs (including the 'legendary' Cat 1 Gun Hill nr Leek); medium: 76km/1405m of climb and short: 45km/739m of climb. The long and medium routes have a tough last 15/20km, you have been warned... There will be feed stations en-route with fruit, biscuits, High5 bars & gels, water & juice; SPORTident timing will be used with an instant results service at the finish. Facilities at the event venue include: hard standing car parking; undercover event HQ/registration area; toilets/changing; restaurants/takeaways for post event meals etc plus excellent shops/visitor centre & kids play area. Refreshments will available at the finish.
