Garner took second place in the individual pursuit with a new personal best time and then followed it up with third in the elimination race to leave her with a total of 106 points as she goes into the last three events on Saturday.
“Tough day in the omnium, really happy to get a PB in the pursuit. Currently lying second going into the final day tomorrow!” Garner tweeted at the end of yesterday’s racing.
