Paddy's Profile
After starting to race from the age of four, Wigan-born Sharrock enjoyed solid results as a junior rider at international level, with a European junior bronze medal from 2016 among his collection.
He stepped up to elite level in 2017, and in April 2019, he achieved his best career result to date, when he made the final of the Manchester round of the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup.
Having looked strong throughout the days racing, Sharrock was the only Briton to contest the men's final on day one of the event, eventually finishing fifth behind a French 1-2-3 led by Joris Daudet.
