Quillan's Profile

The most senior member of the Great British BMX squad, Quillan Isidore was crowned as the under-16 boys' world champion at the 2012 UCI BMX World Championships in Birmingham, UK.

A member of the famous Peckham BMX Club, Isidore turned down the opportunity to try out for Fulham Football Club, choosing the bike over football, and his success at the world championships saw him accepted onto British Cycling's Olympic Senior Academy Programme in 2014, having overcome injury to graduate from the Junior Academy Programme.

Isidore broke his leg at a world cup round in 2017, forcing him to miss that year's world championships. It was yet another setback in a career that has been blighted by injury.

Back in action in 2019, Isidore was crowned senior national champion for the first time, following three successive second-placed finishes.

Isidore focused on domestic racing for the next few seasons, and was crowned British National champion again in 2023, in a year which also saw him post notable results in both the European and world cup series, though he narrowly missed out on qualifying for the semi-finals at the 2023 UCI BMX World Championships in Glasgow.
