Part Time Senior Administrator (18hrs / 4 days per week)

British Cycling is the National Governing Body of Cycle Sport in the UK, the key to our success lies in the delivery of our UK Whole Sport Plan through the talented employees that work within our sport at all levels. We are pleased to announce that we have a part time vacancy for an enthusiastic, appropriately skilled administrator in our Development team.

The successful candidate will provide an efficient secretarial and administrative service to the National Development Managers and to the department as a whole. The role requires someone who is experienced and highly competent in all aspects of the Senior Administrator role, with an ability to structure workloads effectively, taking into account changing and competing priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication word processing, typing and minute taking skills are essential and you must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook software.

To succeed in this role, you must be able to work with little supervision or prompting, but also have the ability to effectively communicate with staff and external partners at all levels and provide feedback to relevant staff on work in progress. Significant experience of providing a high standard of secretarial and administrative support is essential for this role. The successful applicant will be required to apply for an enhanced CRB disclosure.

All of our permanent employees are automatically awarded Gold Membership of British Cycling. The hours of work are 18 hours per week (10am to 3pm, with a 30 minute lunch break, Tuesday to Friday).
