Tracy Moseley continued her domination of the 2011 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Downhill with a third win of the series.

On what must now rate as her favourite track - following a World Championship title run in 2010 - Moseley returned to the top step of the podium to replace the rainbow jersey with the World Cup leader's jersey.

In what is shaping up to be Moseley's first World Cup Series win since 2006, the Malvern-based rider held off main rival Florianne Pugin to take the win by two seconds. Rachel Atherton continued her comeback with third place and Manon Carpenter maintains her lead in the Junior World Cup competition.

ELITE MEN
Two years on from Steve Peat's historic Downhill World Championship win a new order in the UCI Downhill World Cup is beginning to establish itself - and once more British talent is at the forefront.

The emergence of Junior World Champions from last decade have made an exciting journey to the top of the senior standings - none more so than Josh Bryceland and Danny Hart who finished second and fourth at MSA, both cementing top-ten positions in the overall competition. 

For Bryceland, it was a career best result, finishing runner-up by less than half a second to Aaron Gwin, who has dominated the 2011 season.

Top Brit in the overall is still Gee Atherton in third position, but where a mechanical in Fort William cost Atherton the race win, another in Canada looks to have ended his hopes of the title - a DNF unaffordable in such a competitive World Cup season.

Jared Graves and Anneke Beerten proved they are still unstoppable forces on the fourcross scene - despite both being in their final seasons of racing the discipline.

Taking clear runs to the final, both riders led from the gate, leaving the real battle for second-spot.

Brits Fionn Griffiths and Katy Curd were hopefuls, but Melissa Buhl was too fast from the gate, and a tangle in turn one didn't help toward the cause. Curd later suffered a mechanical, leaving Griffiths to chase and although she pulled in some ground, it wasn't enough to improve on third.

Best British men's performance came from Scott Roberts who is fast establishing himself on the circuit, finishing tenth ahead of both Scott Beaumont and Will Longden.
