British Cycling is pleased to confirm the venues and dates for the 2018 HSBC UK | National Cross-Country Series, National Mountain Bike Cross-Country Championships and Marathon Championships.
The 2018 HSBC UK | National Cross-Country Series will once again comprise five rounds and will be coordinated by British Cycling in partnership with regional organisers.
The series will kick off in March at the Sherwood Pines venue, run by Mervyn Dudley and his team, in the East Midlands before heading to Dalby Forest in Yorkshire in April, a venue used for world cup cross country events in 2010 and 2011. This event will be run by the Nutcracker team.
Round three will see the return of a Scottish venue and will be run by Scottish XC as the series heads to Glentress Forest in Peebles in May, before heading to Phoenix Bike Park in Suffolk and the event run by Mud, Sweat and Gears in June. The season finale sees John Lloyd Events team up with the Royal Welsh Showground venue in Builth Wells for the second year in a row.
The 2018 HSBC UK | National Mountain Bike Cross-Country Championships will be run by the Essex Legacy Team and take place at Hadleigh Park International in Essex while the HSBC UK | National Mountain Bike Marathon Championships will return to the Isle of Man after a successful first year in 2017, with the championships being run by the Manx Mountain Bike Club.
