Don’t be a fool this Easter, make sure you have entered round three of the Project 2018 Race Series taking place in Llandow, Vale of Glamorgan.
The first of the Project 2018 Road Circuit events will be held at the Llandow Motor Racing Circuit on Easter Monday, a circuit that regularly hosts mid-week racing. April Fool at Easter will be run as a stage race, with each youth category from A-E having the opportunity to compete in the three races, weather permitting, with an overall winner on the day. The direction and duration of the races will depend on the weather conditions on the day, but it is hoped all riders will be challenged.
Sign on will open on Monday 1 April for youth riders at 9.00am until 9.45am with racing starting for Youth E promptly at 10.00am. Pre-entry online is encouraged for all categories, but entry on the day will be accepted with a cash payment.
There will also be races taking place for 1-4 Cat Seniors with races starting at approximately midday, on completion of the youth events.
Event organiser, Garrie Tillett, is expecting a great day of racing for all: “Llandow is a hot bed for circuit racing throughout the year, with the Lungopeners already taking place for 2013. It is great to give the youth riders an opportunity to compete on the circuit as part of Project 2018 series. With some of Wales’ most talented youth riders expected to compete, there will be some exciting racing to watch!”
April is a bumper month for the series, with four races taking place across all three of the Project 2018 disciplines, a great opportunity to get stuck in to racing.
