The Wiggle Project 2018 Race Series returns for a bumper weekend of racing this month with the Towy Riders/TRCC Circuit Race and the Newport Youth Omnium on 15 and 16 June.

Ffos Las Race Course, Carmarthenshire will be home to round eight of the Wiggle Project 2018 Race series as Towy Riders and TRCC host an exciting day of circuit racing. Youth A-E riders will compete on a tarmac circuit using the spectators areas, car park and private road network around Ffos Las.
Sign on and bike check will open on Saturday 15 June at 9.00am. Racing will start promptly at 10.00am. There will also be races for the E/1/2 and 3/4 from 1.00pm for the seniors to all experience racing at this new venue.
This is the first time Ffos Las is to be used as a racing venue. A circuit has been designed which is split between fast sections and tight twisty areas. Bike handling and cornering skills will be as important as speed.
The start and finish area is infront of the main grandstand, which will offer a superb viewing area, and shelter if it rains. There is parking available onsite along with refreshments and changing facilities.
Event organiser Andrew Smith, Towy Riders said: “We are all looking forward to hosting a second round of the Wiggle Project 2018 Race Series here in Carmarthenshire, and at a new venue. Ffos Las will provide the riders with a new circuit and new challenges, which will provide an exciting day of racing for all.”
Online entry is encouraged, and is open until Wednesday 12 June. Entries will also be accepted on the day.

Wales National Velodrome will be home to round nine of the Wiggle Project 2018 Race Series, the Newport Youth Omnium.
Racing will be open to Youth A-C riders on Wales’ only indoor velodrome. The event is also part of the National Youth Track Omnium Series.
Sign on will open at 9.00am until 9.45am on Sunday 16 June. Racing will start promptly at 10.00am, there will be no on track warm up. More information is available in the race programme.
Entry has now closed for the Newport Youth Omnium, but all are welcome to spectate on the day.
