As detailed in our recent COVID-19 updates Welsh Cycling will look to sanction, a return to activity for club and group sessions that comply with the new rules laid out by Welsh Government. An essential component of this was the need for clubs to complete COVID training which we can happily now announce will be available via the link below.
Welsh Cycling are keen to support a safe return to the sport in Wales and will cover the cost of two places per affiliated club/ group for the required training which will be paid directly to the WSA.
The cost of this training will also be provided free of charge to our qualified Breeze leaders to also allow a faster return to organised women’s only rides and support the rapid demand from new people discovering cycling over the past few months.
Welsh Cycling would like to clarify that each club and group must have at least one person trained for us to allow activity to recommence in that club from the 25th. Without a trained official in the club existing sanctions will remain for these clubs as insurance cover will not be provided.
To take advantage of our offer to cover the cost of training for two officials please also complete this Google form by the 31st August 2020 (Breeze champions are also required to complete this additional form).
Further details on the training will be provided during our webinar, watch it back here
