Working to get more people on bikes
17 June 2009
British Cycling is working hard to get more people than ever before on bikes - from complete beginners to Olympic medallists. This is reflected in British Cycling's work with Sky aimed at encouraging more people to get back into or try cycling for the first time (visit British Cycling's Skyride pages for more info.
We know that this fits in with the plans of many public bodies such as local authorities, regional development agencies and primary care trusts as part of their objectives to increase activity and improve travel. We're keen to work with all of these organisations in the shared goal of getting more people cycling.
If you work for an organisation that would like to be involved in the cycling revolution, please contact Louise Twelvetrees at British cycling on 0161 274 2046 or louisetwelvetrees@britishcycling.org.uk.
