Rotary PedalPush Entries Open
Event: 16th May 2010
The Rotary Club of High Wycombe's 15th Annual PedalPush event on 16th May 2010 is now open for entries.
Starting at Hearing Dogs for Deaf People in Saunderton (HP27 9NS) the rides take place through the magnificent Chiltern Countryside. Two Rotary Marshalled routes - 25 miles for younger or the less energetic riders and a 50 mile route for more experienced riders - suitable for road bikes. The entry fee is £10 for adults and £5 for juniors (14 or younger on the day ) This ride is primarily to raise money for charity but this is not a condition of entry and people who enter just to enjoy the marshalled routes are also very welcome.
Any sponsorship you raise can be split 50/50 between your own good cause and Rotary charities, which among others this year are:- Wycombe Winter Night Shelter and Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. Over the last 14 years Rotary PedalPush has raised over £130,000 for good causes.
The Start & Finish at Hearing Dogs has excellent facilities for off street parking and and a café serving home cooked snacks both before and after the event. Rotoract Club and Thame Scout Troop will be manning two refreshment stations along the route.
