Ride the Manchester Fly Ride for the Stroke Association

Event: The Manchester Fly Ride | Sunday 10th April 2011

Whether you ride with friends, family, a group from the office or on your own, the first event Manchester Fly's Ride is set to be a great day out for a great cause - raising money to help the 250,000 people in the UK living with disabilities caused by stroke.

The Route
The routes are relatively flat, family friendly and follow approved on and off road cycle paths. Both routes start and finish at the picturesque Styal Country Park before following sections of the Manchester Airport orbital Loop.

Cyclists have the choice of going Long Haul or Short Haul on this ride, either taking on a 25 mile or a 14 mile ride.

Riders will have the opportunity to marvel at the awesome power of the aircraft in action, travelling under the runways and take in the beautiful scenery of the Cheshire Countrywide.

And for you...
Each participant will receive an entry pack containing the all important personalised sponsorship form. In addition each participant will be given a t-shirt and all those who successfully cross the finish line with receive a medal to mark their fantastic cycling achievement.

Your entry fee only covers the cost of running the event, it's the sponsorship money you raise that goes towards The Stroke Association's vital work. We are asking each adult participant to commit to raising £50 and £15 per child rider.
