"Four riders went away after the top of the hill and I was just able to get across to them" said a delighted Natalie after receiving her prize. "We all worked well but I knew it would come down to the final kilometre because of the hill, I chose to go to the front - to get into a rhythm on the hill and not get caught out by riders dropping back from their efforts or missing a gear change".

- Victory for Natalie Creswick Natalie Creswick - Twickenham CC led all the way up Pitten Hill to win the 4th round of the Women's Team Race Series held on the Ettington circuit and organised by Steve Faulkner and the Stratford CC. Sponsored by Bikefood and Spuik, the 80 kilometre race marked the halfway point in this season long major women's race competition. With its two large laps of mainly rural roads, the first problem after just 3 kilometres was to Tracey Fletcher - Mischief Card.com who punctured but was able to chase back on. A kilometre further on and a serious crash caught out Fiona Telford-Brunton - Serengeti Sisters (who had travelled all the way from Cornwall) with cuts and bruises, Solvieg Findley - Twickenham CC with a suspected broken collar bone, Edie Bassey - Abergavenny CC with concussion. A lone attack with 8 kms covered that was brought back; then the race halted to allow a farmer to shepherd his sheep to another field; with over half the race completed the race split going up the prime hill and 9 riders were now in the lead - a lead that gradually increased but that was not it. 4 riders attacked from the 9 rider group, Melissa Mather - Mischief Card.com, Rachel Osbourne and experienced rider Jeanette Caldicott of Max Gear RT; Natalie saw this and went after them to make it 5 in the lead, and with all them working very well the gap increased steadily until they had some 2 minutes towards the final few kilometres. So, the question for those following the race was who would be the strongest on the long finishing hill? Onto the lower part of the hill and the lead group were getting strung out with Natalie Creswick leading the way to eventually cross the line and win the race.Melissa Mather used her sprint well to claim 2nd place from Rachel Osbourne.
