Notes
Please remember it is cheaper for riders to register if their club/racing team is registered to the League.
Before any rider will be allowed to sign on they must have registered and have been allocated a registration and a race number/s.
To encourage even more Youth D and E categories for both girls and boys to attend there is again for the 2013 season free registration for these two categories for the league events. Due to legal and insurance matters riders for these two categories will still be required to complete the League registration form and their parent/guardian will have to sign the registration form.
Although riders can register on their first week’s attendance at Litherland Sports Park it would be appreciated however, if, competitors could register by post as early as possible so that there is not too many hold ups on the first couple of nights of racing in the series when there is severe light restrictions at this time of the year.
Due to the light restrictions already mentioned on the Wednesday nights during April 2013 the popular weekly 500 metres Handicap Series for youth riders will not commence for the 2013 season until the 1st May 2013. Entries for this competition should be given to the Chief Commissaire on the night of racing and is free for those who have already raced in the youth events and will be run before the start of the 4th category and Women’s Event.
After each evening’s racing the Litherland Circuit League Committee will award points for the leaders of each of the following licence categories:
Youth for each (A/B/C/D/E) licence categories. There are separate tables for the girls and boys.
Junior males for each licence (2/3/4) category
Senior males for each licence (2/3/4) category
Women, as well as Junior Women when they ride the Women’s and 4th category event.
Youth A riders who have a BC dispensation and show it ride the final event of the evening will be classified as part of the Junior 3rd category table for the points competition. 4th Category riders who wish to ride the final event of each evening will be classified for league points purposes as a 3rd Category rider.
Further details on the League points to be awarded will be shown on the Merseyside Cycling Development Group website or you can be obtained them from the League Secretary.
