To support the implementation of the 2023-27 Domestic Events Stratgey Scottish Cycling launched a refreshed governance structire for the Events Commissions in early 2023.
The Event Commissions structure has been shaped by the feedback we received from the Scottish Cycling community through the Domestic Events Strategic Review and discipline working group review, the full report of which is available here, and will provide and effective and engaging commission structure which will enable our community to shape our sport.
We believe the following Events commission structure will enable Scottish Cycling to be agile and work more dynamically as the sport changes and develops at an ever-increasing rate.
Commissions are advisory groups that bring together members of the community with a range of perspectives to support Scottish Cycling in decision making, to help grow and progress the sport
The Events Commission structure comprises of three groups, all with the aim of supporting the implementation of the domestic events strategy and ensuring everyone has the opportunity tp experience the thrill of events and achieve their best.
Commissaire Commission
The Commissaire Commission will advise on officials training and development, ensuring that we have great people to make our sport happen.

We are always looking from across the Scottish Cycling community, from as broad a range of disciplines, backgrounds, genders, ages, abilities, and ethnicities as possible, to help us shape the future of cycle sport in Scotland.
