It was another Scottish medal for the Great Britain team on the penultimate day of the Under 23 European Track Championships in Athens yesterday.
Jonathan Mitchell from Paisley took bronze in the under-23 men’s keirin – a lovely addition to his Great Britain debut.
The young rider made a comeback to cycling just under three years ago when the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome opened in Glasgow. Previous to that he had been a member of the Glasgow Riderz and raced with them in his youth.
The team have done incredibly well at the European Championships!
