How long have you been volunteering in your role for?
Since April 2018
How easy is it to get into volunteering?
Very easy, just ask the organisers if you can help out (They will always find something for you to do)
What are the benefits of volunteering?
You get to see great racing, meet lots of new people (and familiar faces too), get to know the locals, use a walkie talkie and free food!
What has been your most memorable volunteering experience in cycling?
Being interviewed by the one and only Jenny Holl! Also witnessing a crash in the first 10 seconds of a race (thankfully no one was hurt)
Where do you want to take your volunteering next?
Always happy to help out as long as I’m not racing in the event too
Describe the perfect volunteer (without describing yourself!)
Calm, cool and collected :) Happy, helpful, smiling, knows more about the race than the riders do and can give perfect directions.

Volunteers’ Week is a time to say thank you for the fantastic contribution volunteers make.
During the week, hundreds of events and celebrations take place across the country, saying thank you to volunteers and recognising their invaluable and diverse contribution to the UK.
