The eighth annual Youth Tour of Scotland is now under a week away!
The race will take place in Perthshire and this year will run from 5th – 8th April 2019 with over 120 riders coming from all over the UK and further afield to compete.
The Youth Tour of Scotland is one of the only residential youth stage races in the UK, offering riders the opportunity to ride in teams with all the trappings of a professional stage race. Teams will be accompanied by Managers and races overseen by a team of fully trained officials.
Throughout the weekend the participants get the opportunity to compete at the highest level on closed roads, whilst also being able to meet other riders from across the country and receive guidance from top coaches. This is a great opportunity for rider and coaches alike to share experiences and swap tips.
Over four stages of competition riders will have the chance to compete for individual stage wins, points competition, King & Queen of the mountains, best Scottish rider and team awards. Leaders in each category will have the honour of wearing the leaders jersey for the following stage!
